MASLA Leadership Training for Building Level and Central Office Administrators who supervise teachers and educational support personnel. This two-day training will be at the OCM BOCES, at 200 Elwood Davis Road in Liverpool, New York on December 3 and 4, 2024, and is designed to provide in-depth personnel and labor relations training and information for front line administrators.
DAY ONE: December 3, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
· Morning - Personnel Academy for Building Level and Central Office Leadership.
· Afternoon - Labor Relations Skills; handling grievances, understanding the labor agreement, addressing poor behavior and employee discipline.
DAY TWO: December 4, 8:30 to 11:30 AM
· Student Discipline - How the process works and the role of the Building Principal and Central Office Administrators.
· FMLA – Understanding the rights of employees and the role of the supervisor.
The cost for the training is $295 and attendees will receive a Certificate to show they have completed the training. MASLA will apply for CTLE credits. The training will be in person only. Please note, there are a limited number of seats available.
Morning snacks and lunch will be provided on the first day, and breakfast on day two.
